Four things it does · And nothing else

The Schengen calculator that doesn't make you do the work.

01 · The answer

A day count at a glance — ready to review.

Keep the stays that affect your rolling window in one record, then use the count to see which dates deserve a closer check before you plan a trip.

Read the source-backed 90/180 guide and confirm the rule and documents that apply to you.

Use photo metadata as a prompt, then review the dates and add missing stays manually.
02 · No typing

Build a history you can correct.

Flags can use photo metadata to help reconstruct a travel history. Review every suggested stay before relying on the result: a photo history can be incomplete and is not an official border record.

Don't have useful photos for a trip? Add or correct the stay manually. That keeps the record useful for older, phone-free or incomplete journeys.

03 · Planning

Test a trip — then check the rule.

Use the recorded history to explore how future dates affect a rolling day count. Treat the result as planning information, not a decision about permission to enter or stay.

Before travel, confirm current official guidance and the conditions in your own documents. Planning into 2026? See what ETIAS changes, and what it doesn't.

04 · Privacy

A private record, not a live tracker.

The current App Store listing describes an on-device design with no account, cloud or GPS tracking. Review and correct your history yourself before you use it to plan.

The whole story is on the privacy page, including the difference between the app record and limited, aggregate website measurement.

Common questions · Answered in plain English

If you've asked this before, you're not alone.

What is the Schengen 90/180 rule?

For ordinary short stays, the standard calculation is up to 90 days in any rolling 180-day period. Passport, visa and permit conditions can change the answer, so check the current official guidance before travelling.

When will ETIAS start?

The EU says ETIAS is scheduled for the final quarter of 2026, with the exact date to be announced. It is a separate travel authorisation and does not change the 90/180-day limit.

How does the app know where I've been if it doesn't use GPS?

Flags can use photo metadata to help reconstruct a stay history, and you can add missing stays manually. Its App Store listing describes an on-device design with no account, cloud or GPS tracking.

What happens if I overstay by one day?

A day count is a prompt to check your history and the applicable rule, not a border decision. Flags is a planning tool, not legal advice; border authorities make the final decision.

How much does it cost?

The app is free to download with in-app purchases. Current trial, subscription and regional pricing are shown in the App Store and in-app before purchase.

Can I track multiple passports?

Check the current App Store listing and app for supported passport options. Whichever record you use, confirm the passport and travel conditions that apply to your journey outside the app.

What if I don't have photos for some trips?

Add or correct a stay manually. Review photo-based suggestions as well, because a photo history can be incomplete and is not an official border record.
