We aim to reply within 48 hours. No queue robot, no auto-classifier, no “we've received your ticket” template.
Most often this is because EXIF metadata was stripped from your photos — by a cloud sync, by a chat app, or by an “optimise storage” setting. Open Settings → Photos and check that “iCloud Photos” is keeping originals on this device. You can also add stays by hand from the Data tab.
Open the Data tab, tap “Add stay”, choose the country and dates. The app blends manual stays with photo-derived ones and applies the 90/180 rule to the combined set.
If you restored from an iCloud or local backup, your travel data comes back with the rest of the app. If you started fresh, no — we genuinely cannot recover it, because we never had a copy. Sorry. (This is the same trade-off that lets us promise nothing leaves your iPhone.)
EXIF region tags can be coarse — a photo taken near a border may attribute to either side. Open the stay, tap “Edit”, and pick the correct country. The app remembers your correction.
Not yet. iOS first. If demand justifies it, we'll consider Android later — but we'd rather do iOS well than both apps poorly.
Open Settings → Data in the app and tap “Reset everything”. Or just delete the app — there is no cloud copy to clean up.
Each update note appears in the App Store version history. We do not maintain a separate changelog because the audience is small and the App Store list is good enough.
