What makes a good travel map app?

A travel map is simple on the surface: show the countries that belong in your story. The practical difference lies underneath. Look for an editable record

Travel history is rarely complete in one source. You may have a photo from a city but none from a road trip, or remember a country that a phone album cannot place accurately. Choose a map that lets you add and correct countries rather than locking you into an automatic result.

Think about the output too. A good map should be legible at a glance: the collection, the countries still unmarked and any note you keep for yourself. It does not need to know where you are today to show where you have been.

Decide how much data you want to share
